We’d possibly still be waiting for a smarter Siri Siri, however, OpenAi CEO Sam Altman believes that the company already knows how to create the Holy Grail of Ai: Synthetic General Intelligence (AI).
AGI is the term given to an AI system which can match or exceed human cognitive capabilities across a wide range of fields – in other words, AI which is at least as smart as we are …
Altman made the claim in a post on his personal blog.
We are now confident we know how to build AGI as we have traditionally understood it. We believe that, in 2025, we may see the first AI agents “join the workforce” and materially change the output of companies. We continue to believe that iteratively putting great tools in the hands of people leads to great, broadly-distributed outcomes.
Estamos comenzando a nuestro propósito más allá de eso, a la superinteligencia en el verdadero sentido de la palabra. Nos encantan nuestros productos existentes, pero estamos aquí para un excelente futuro. With superintelligence, we can do anything else. The superintendent team can greatly increase clinical discovery and innovation far beyond what we are able to do through ourselves and, in turn, greatly accumulating abundance and prosperity.
Know the same as power, of course, and Altman saying that it will be achieved, only we have to wait for great advances not specified in “the coming years. “
It sounds like science fiction at this time, and a little horn to communicate about it. Okay, we are here before and we are fine to be there again. We are sure that in the coming years, everyone will see what we see and want to act with wonderful care, while maximizing general benefits and empowerment, it is very important.
The publication looks back and forth, with Altman describing his wonderful shot.
A little over a year ago, on one particular Friday, the main thing that had gone wrong that day was that I got fired by surprise on a video call, and then right after we hung up the board published a blog post about it. I was in a hotel room in Las Vegas. It felt, to a degree that is almost impossible to explain, like a dream gone wrong.
Being dismissed in public without caution threw away a few hours and a few days quite voluntarily. The “fog of war” was the strangest part. None of us can get passable answers about what happened or why.
The all-encompassing occasion was, in my opinion, a wonderful failure of governance by well-meaning people, to add to me. In hindsight, in fact, I wish I had done things differently, and I wish I’d been a more wonderful and more considerate leader today than I was a year ago.
While Altman may be predicting true AI, we’re still (mostly) waiting for a smarter Siri. Although some Apple Intelligence features have already added to the intelligent assistant’s capabilities, we’re not expecting a fully-conversational Siri to launch until 2026 at the earliest.
