Today is the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 launch day, with both Nvidia’s first RTX Blackwell graphics cards going on sale today at 6am PT (2pm UK). But be warned, the likelihood of actually getting hold of one today is pretty damned slim. Most of the noises from manufacturers and retailers has been about the slight stock levels that they’re going to have come launch day.
MSI said it had won a limited bid from Nvidia Fleas itself (although it has lists for a giant number of other cards) and one of the giant British retailers, Overclockers, noted that there is only a “number” number of RTX 5090 cards for launch.
If the volume of available cards last more than ten minutes past go time I will be very surprised. Very surprised.
I guess that’s why there are other people who were already camping outside microcenters in the United States, and you can bet that other people are already lining up at their doors at their local Best Buy stores. I wonder how many of those other people have already indexed RTX 5090 cards for exorbitant costs on eBay. These natural coatings will be in place for the launch of the RTX 50 series, you can be sure.
The cards were allegedly out of inventory around 6:05 a. m. PT and they don’t have inventory from all the stores we’ve built so far, in the US and UK. But there will be reimagines over the next week or two, so it’s going to be a value to stay if you’re looking for one of Nvidia’s new maps.

What I will say about the RTX 50 series is that DLSS Four and the generation of multiple frame is Ace. In the games in which I have tried functionality, either with the games where it was implemented locally and where it is available through DLSS replaces the NVIDIA application, it provides the type of frequency of Fours symbols that will not see the local representation for many generations GPU GPU. .
When you’re hitting triple figure frame rates in Alan Wake 2 at max ray traced settings, with such low PC latency, it’s truly impressive.
So, what are the bets? Will the cards last longer than ten minutes on sale?
