Nvidia has released a new Geforce 451.85 HotFix driving force that aims to solve the disruptions faced by some players in Death Stranding, as well as Forza Motorsport 7 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
The solution updates Nvidia’s Game Ready 451.67 driver, which was released earlier in July and appears to have brought issues for various games.
According to Nvidia’s driving force release notes, the new Geforce 451.85 HotFix driving force corrects a challenge in Death Stranding where GPU owners GeForce GTX 16/RTX 20 faced texture corruption.
It also fixes a challenge in Shadow of the Tomb Raider in DirectX 12 mode, when the game crashes when introduced with GPU programming accelerated through the activated hardware.
The driving force also corrects an annoying challenge in Forza Motorsport 7 where the game begins to stutter after a few laps.
The Nvidia Geforce 451.85 HotFix driving force also solves a challenge where “some games may have random crashes that last a few seconds for the game”.
It has also resolved a challenge where some screens show a green tint when Windows Night Light is active, as well as the Nvidia settings panel that displays the data when connected to a TV.
The driving force also adds G-Sync for Samsung’s new 27-inch Odyssey G7 game monitor.
You can download the Nvidia Geforce 451.85 HotFix driving force on the Nvidia site or through your GeForce Experience software.
