A dramatic photo shows the moment a chimney ripped a giant haystack in Hertfordshire. Firefighters fought the fire that occurred next to the A1(M), last night (Saturday, May 21).
Drivers and citizens of the North Mymms domain rushed to call firefighters after the giant haystack jammed the chimney near Memorial Park. As a result, police closed Dixons Hill Road and Tollgate Road, the two-lane road was not affected.
It was believed that at least 4 aircraft were provided while crews worked on the chimney. The chimney burst near the two closed roads at Welham Green, Hatfield.

At 11:28 p. m. , Hertfordshire Fire Control posted a message on Twitter. They said: “We received several calls to a large, well-lit haystack next to A1M, North Mymms. The fire trucks are provided and [are] coping with the fire. “Dixons Hill Road on Tollgate Road has been closed by police, please the area. “
Tollgate Road remains closed on any of the instructions this morning (Sunday, May 22), according to Inrix traffic tracking. The road is closed for protection reasons and it is not yet known when it will reopen to drivers.
