New course explores the Jenkins X open source CI/CD tool

SAN FRANCISCO, August 11, 2020 / PRNewswire / – The Linux Foundation, the non-profit organization that enables massive innovation through open source, announced the availability of a new educational course, LFS268 – CI /CD with Jenkins X.
Developed in collaboration with the Continuous Delivery Foundation, LFS268 is designed for reliability engineers, software developers and architects, DevOps, and others who want to not only master uninterrupted integration (CI) and uninterrupted delivery (CD), but also gain an understanding of the on-premises cloud ecosystem.
Jenkins X is an open source CI/CD tool built on the Kubernetes platform. Intelligent technique is needed to create CI/CD workflows. The focus is on developer productivity through maximum automation of pipeline tasks.
This course will provide the fundamental principles of Jenkins X. Students will be informed how to use this tool to create an automated software delivery channel that includes creating, testing in environments, and then selling their application in production.
At the end of the course, the fellows must:

Install and use Jenkins X
Create pipelines in Jenkins X
Create and import projects into Jenkins X
Promote programs through built-in environments
