Baptist apologized in a statement to KPRC-TV in Houston:
“I deeply post on my Facebook page a word I’ve noticed and copied in others as a pattern of some people’s reactions to Senator Harris’ Biden variety as his choice for vice president,” he wrote.
“The phrase I published does not at all reflect my non-public criticisms.I have not been so insensitive to the publication of the statements of others.I sincerely apologize to everyone who was justly angry and got rid of my Facebook Page’s message It was a terrible mistake on my part.
