COLUMBIA, Missouri (KMIZ)
The University of Missouri Health Care closed its COVID-19 tests monday morning due to severe storms.
A UM tweet said a lightning bolt in the domain had the university to avoid testing.
The university transferred all coronavirus tests to the construction of Mizzou North in Business Loop 70 West.
A tweet of joint communications from Boone County also sent Monday morning said the county was under a serious thunderstorm warning until 11:15 a.m.
Rain has flooded the area, wind gusts of up to 60 mph and hail are imaginable with the storm.
It is known when UM will reopen the verification site.
