EAGAN, MN – Eagan’s women’s soccer team, Minnesota Aurora FC, announced Tuesday that 5600 seats have been sold out for their first game.
The Athletics’ first game of the season will take place on Thursday at 7 p. m. Aurora will play Green Bay Glory in the new USL W League, he said.
Aurora said Minneapolis and Eagan, adding Sperry Tower, will light up in teal blue for the team on Wednesday and Thursday night.
“The team was founded through a Twin Cities citizens’ organization and was announced last June as a founding member of the new USL W League, which will serve as the nation’s premier pre-professional league through the next generation of female talent, both on and off the field,” Aurora said.
