While, in theory, a device made through Microsoft may have some benefits if it was designed in particular for game streaming (allowing the company to focus on things like wireless controller latency, for example), it turns out that it would be much less difficult to succeed. in a wider user base through creating apps for existing smart TV platforms that try to convince other people that they don’t. you don’t need to shell out cash on an Xbox or gaming PC to spend cash on a new media streamer when you probably already have a smart TV of some sort.
