Microsoft Works: How to Download and on Windows 11/10

Microsoft has been actively developing a productivity software suite: Microsoft Works. It was a one-stop-shop for a word processor, a spreadsheet, and a database control system. Later, it was updated to get a calendar and a dictionary. It was an inferior product. Microsoft Office suite edition and presented at a reduced price of $40 retail and $2 for OEM. This software was compatible with Windows Vista and earlier editions, and its progression was discontinued in 2009. But other people would like to run it on Windows 11/ 10.

Is Microsoft Works available?

No, Microsoft Works was discontinued and progress stopped in 2009; however, you can still use it on your Windows 11/10 PC by installing it in compatibility mode. This software is compatible with Windows Vista and earlier versions. How to install and run Microsoft Works on Windows 11 /10

Although officially no longer downloadable, you can get an edition of the Microsoft Works ISO symbol here at archive. org. Once you’ve loaded it, double-click on the loaded symbol to mount it.

Open the fixed slot to run SETUP. exe. You will arrive at this welcome page in the settings.

When you click Next, you will be prompted for the location where you need to install Microsoft Works.

Select Next and get to a page where you want to choose an installation option.

Click Next. Now, it will give you an account stating:

Microsoft Works 7. 0 requires several operational formula components, adding Microsoft 6. 0. If your computer doesn’t already have the latest versions of those components, the installation wizard will update them.

Select Install.

It will take you to a page where the installation of the entire suite will be done, and there you can see the progress of its installation.

Once completed, you will be on the Successful Installation screen where you will need to finish to complete the installation.

From the Start menu access or the shortcut on the desktop, you can run Microsoft Works on your computer. If you find that it might not open, you can run it in compatibility mode and see if that helps. What’s included with Microsoft Works?
