Microsoft is about to remove for Internet Explorer in all its stability and Office 365 installations next year, while focusing on the next-generation Edge browser.
The company has been operating for many years to reduce usage and Internet Explorer, accelerating after the launch of the Edge browser in 2015.
Microsoft has transferred existing Windows 10 users to its new Chromium-based Edge browser. The company says new gadgets and long-term Windows feature updates will come with the new Edge browser.
On August 17, 2021, Internet Explorer 11 will no longer be available in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and more.
Support for Internet Explorer 11 for the Microsoft Teams Internet application is also expected to stop on November 30 this year.
