Microsoft is testing a new look for the edge accessories store in its Canarian version, moving from the classic column view to a horizontal fashion design. The redesign simplifies navigation by having some key sections, adding the search bar at the top: discover, extensions, topics and applications of the sidebar.
Microsoft replaces the vertical disposition with a horizontal navigation bar for sections, which facilitates extensions.
The redesign features a larger, wider carousel on the most sensible of the page, with featured content. Below The Carousel In the Discover section, users will locate 3 cards aligned horizontally: trends, new users, and education.
As you move horizontally, you will notice more cards: Personice Edge, through Microsoft and the qualified. The Discover segment also presents feeding extensions through AI, possible editor options, productivity and appearance bars applications.
The extensions segment also includes a carousel with featured extensions and a “focus” callout in the left column, with extensions from other categories below. The reveal is also the same with themes and sidebar apps.
Key Changes:
The replacement turns out to mirror Microsoft’s resolution to make the additional edge modules friendly and visually storage. The review removes clutter, focusing on key elements, helping users seamlessly notice extensions on the Edge website.
The new Edge Add-on store is still being tested, and Microsoft can compare comments and extend it widely with users, with Google’s technique with the new version of the Chrome online store.
Apart from this, Microsoft is redesigning Edge Settings on Android and on desktop, Edge can now provide you with detailed video summaries with the help of Copilot.
