It looks like Microsoft will soon unveil its next-gen Surface Laptop Go. The successor to the would-be Chromebook competitor has given the impression on a Korean store listing that it turned out to have gone live too soon. Turns out the page has since been removed.
The list, which was detected through The Verge, indicates that the Surface Laptop Go 2 will be upgraded from a 10th gen Intel Core processor to an 11th gen Intel processor. This quick setup includes i5-1135G7 graphics and Intel Iris Xe.
As with the original 2020 Surface Laptop Go, this computer will have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, according to the list. However, the specifications of the base model are unclear. Previous reports indicated that the computer would have a base of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The base Surface Laptop Go has 64GB of storage.
Unsurprisingly, the computer comes with Windows 11. La list also promises a battery life of up to 13. 5 hours. In addition, it suggests that the formula will have “improved HD camera performance”, although, like its predecessor, it is intended to have a 720p webcam.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 turns out to have many other important points that are not unusual with the original system. The list suggests it still has a 12. 4-inch display and a 3:2 aspect ratio, the same ports (including a 3. 5mm and the Surface’s proprietary charging port), and a fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, there’s no sign that you still have a backlit keyboard.
It turns out we don’t have to wait much longer for Microsoft to officially announce the newest entry-level Surface laptop. The list suggests that pre-orders will open on June 2.
