In an official blog post, Microsoft wrote: “Semafor will work with us to leverage AI teams for news hunters with research, source discovery, translation, and more with Semafor Signals, helping news hunters provide a wide diversity of credible local, national, and global news. resources to your audience.
The company also announced its collaboration with news organizations, such as the Craig Newmark School of Journalism, the Online News Association, and the GroundTruth Project, to integrate generative AI into their work and newsrooms.
According to the company, each and every organization will have access to Microsoft’s experts and technology this year and is committed to sharing the effects of its projects with the entire industry to teach, inspire and innovate in how data will be produced in the industry’s future.
“By working directly with newsrooms, universities, journalists, and industry groups, we’ll get those organizations to use AI to grow their audience, streamline time-consuming responsibilities in newsrooms, and build sustainable business operations,” Microsoft said.
