Popular iPhone, iPad, and Android users can now take advantage of AI when typing, typing, and chatting through Microsoft SwiftKey. With the latest version, the SwiftKey keyboard adds the Bing AI chatbot to its toolset. By transferring to SwiftKey on your cellular device, you can not only search for information, but also request text to be rewritten and submit your requests through a chat option. The latest update follows a recent beta version of SwiftKey that brought AI-only capability to Android devices. Now the official application is compatible with iOS/iPadOS and Android. Now that AI is taking over the technology world, companies are eager to jump on the bandwagon and take advantage of this new trend. In fact, this includes Microsoft, which has already added its Bing AI to Microsoft Edge on desktop and mobile devices. To fully use all the new AI integration features on the SwiftKey keyboard, you’ll need a Microsoft account. If you don’t have one yet, go to the Microsoft account site, scroll down, and click the Create account button. Follow the steps to set up your account. With Android, tap the button on the home screen to enable SwiftKey and toggle passthrough for the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard. Next, tap the Select SwiftKey button and then tap the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard as the input method. Press the Next button to finish and then sign in with your Microsoft account. On an iPhone or iPad, tap the Get Started button. Sign in with your Microsoft account. Decide if you want to share what you write with Microsoft. In the SwiftKey app, tap the globe icon and replace the keyboard with SwiftKey. If you want to allow Microsoft full access to SwiftKey, go to Settings > SwiftKey > Keyboards and turn on pass-through for full access. Otherwise, skip this step if you are concerned about your privacy. On an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, open an app that accepts text, such as Mail or Messaging. Tap the Bing icon in the toolbar above the keyboard. To search for information, tap the Search icon on the Bing AI toolbar. Type or speak a word or term in the search field. Tap the right arrow next to the search box to generate the results. You can then cycle through each result and tap the one you want to access. To rewrite some text, tap the Tone icon on the Bing AI toolbar. Type or speak the text you want to retype, then press the right arrow. In response, the AI rewrites your text in 4 other tastes: professional, casual, refined and social media. Scroll through the other answers and tap OK for the one you want to use. Finally, tap the Chat icon on the Bing AI toolbar. On the welcome screen, the verbal substitute of the taste you prefer. More Creative generates answers that will be more original and imaginative. More expressive leads to more accurate and brief answers. More balanced will achieve a balance between the two. When in doubt, take a balanced approach.
