Microsoft attributed the error to a CrowdStrike update
A primary IT outage on Microsoft’s Azure platform has affected businesses and banks around the world, causing flight cancellations and confusion.
The blackout, which occurred on Friday, affected banks, media outlets and airlines, causing chaotic scenes during airport check-ins and flight cancellations, according to several media outlets.
