Microsoft is about to close its “experience center” of the United Kingdom in downtown London. Windows Central has managed that the 21,000 square feet store in Oxford Circus, a border shopping destination in the British capital, will close in February.
“To further align with its orientation toward virtual growth, Microsoft made the decision to terminate the lease on the Microsoft Experience Center in London earlier,” a Windows Central corporate spokesperson said. “We read about our sites and our workforce to ensure we are aligning on market opportunities and making adjustments to meet business requests,” the corporate representative added.

The Microsoft flagship store in London was officially inaugurated in July 2019, a few months before the World Covid-19 pandemic. A year later, Microsoft announced that it would definitely close its retail points of sale, but the company still took over its London store and three others.
