An autographed Michael Jordan card from the 1998 NBA Finals could win a million dollars at auction.
TMZ Sports reported that the 1999–00 Upper Deck “Final Floor” card is a hardwood piece from the Chicago Bulls vs Utah Jazz Finals series. Auctions at Goldin Auctions have already reached $140,000.
“What makes this card unique is that it is the first 1/1 of Jordan’s autographs, and it is the largest souvenir piece ever issued by a card manufacturer on a Michael Jordan collectible card,” Goldin said. “The photo and the occasion are the pinnacles of Jordan’s career. “
At the time, the box was believed to have come from Jordan’s last NBA game. His Airness eventually returned to basketball for two seasons with the Washington Wizards in 2001.
Although the bachelor card is from Jordan’s last game, it comes with his autograph and is the only fabricated edition of the Upper Deck card.
