May nine (UPI) – Meta opens its first physical business area on its campus in Burlingame, California.
The approximately 1550 square foot store is open from 11 a. m. a 6 p. m. PDT Monday through Friday at the Meta campus at 322 Airport Blvd in Burlingame and will also feature interactive demonstrations where consumers can view the immersive virtual meta Quest 2 headset.
Users will also receive a 30-second clip of their virtual reality experience to take home.
They can also make video calls to distributors with Meta Portal and notice Smart Camera, which scrolls and zooms to track action plans, and Story Time, which brings stories to life with music, animations, and augmented truth effects.
“Once other people have experienced the technology, they can appreciate it better,” Martin Gilliard, head of meta store, said in a statement. “If we’ve done our homework right, other people faint and tell their friends, ‘You want to take a look at the Meta Store. ‘”
Customers will be able to purchase Quest 2 accessories and portal devices in-store, and if they’re interested in Ray-Ban Stories sunglasses sellers, they’ll be available to help them order them directly on Ray-Ban. com.
