On Friday, LSU underwent a dynamic workout with a padded helmet, shoulder pads and motorcycle shorts for its fourth day of camp.
The team will have Saturday and Sunday off, and will choose to exercise only 4 days this week due to the 20-hour exercise time limit set by the SEC. Schools are entitled to 25 exercise sessions before they open the season. For LSU, it’s a house game opposite the state of Mississippi on September 26.
On Monday, the Tigers will be able to enter full pads for the first time after two days of helmets, and two more in shells (helmet and shoulder pads).

A young man who impressed from the beginning of the camp is the genuine first-year ball bearer Kevontre Bradford.
LSU has a three-headed running attack for the 2020 season with Chris Curry, Tyrion Davis-Price and John Emery, but does not fall asleep in Bradford.
The lancaster, Texas local, belatedly recruited through LSU staff. Head coach Ed Orgeron was unable to get to know him well, however, after a high school career, Bradford continued to produce early at fall camp.
“We met him a little late and he wasn’t a five-star or anything like that,” Orgeron told reporters this week. “We thought he was a smart player. I didn’t know him very well, to be fair to you because we met him late. Dude, I was surprised in terms of his tenacity, his athletic ability, his speed.” It’s bigger than I imagine, which is actually smart because I wouldn’t have signed it if I didn’t think it’s smart enough to play here.
Along with the trio of veterans and Bradford, LSU has a talented organization to review to upgrade Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who went to the first circular of the NFL draft to the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Now the other boys also look wonderful. I think we have four perfect ball carriers,” Orgeron said. “Let’s use them all. We have a wonderful medium coach. I can’t wait to see those boys run.”
