A keyboard, mouse and headset can make the difference between winning or losing a tournament.
Logitech G is the company’s gaming sub-brand and marks a new era of innovation with complex gaming technologies and eliteArray Today marks the arrival of two of the brand’s newest products to the award-winning PRO Series range. The Logitech G PRO X TKL LIGHTSPEED and Logitech G PRO gaming keyboard
For more than three years, Logitech G has worked alongside many of the most thoughtful professional esports athletes to create their next generation of PRO Series gear. The new products, combined with Logitech G PRO
Brent Barry is director of the esports portfolio and PRO Series at Logitech G: “The exciting new PRO Series portfolio represents a pure, uncompromising collection of products designed for maximum functionality for esports professionals from elite and the most competitive players who bet on the maximum sense of their game.

The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 Gaming Mouse is designed to offer precision, performance and reliability, three things that matter in professional gaming. If your mouse or keyboard packs up in the middle of a competition, even for a moment, you’ve potentially lost a lot of money. In the same way that other sportspeople rely on racquets, balls and other paraphernalia, elite-level Esports depend on kit that functions quickly, efficiently and reliably.
The new PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 Gaming Mouse offers state-of-the-art technologies, including LIGHTFORCE Hybrid Switches. New hybrid optical-mechanical switch technology provides the speed and reliability of optical sensors with the crisp response and tactile feel that only pro mechanical switches can provide.
The new mouse is incredibly light and includes the new HERO 2 Sensor, which can track at over 500 inches per second at resolutions up to 32,000 DPI. The mouse has a dual array design that increases its wireless range while maintaining tracking performance, even when lifting or tilting the mouse. Logitech says that feedback from its pro gamers prompted the designers to keep the award-winning shape and geometry of the original PRO Superlight and the weight, which is just 60g.
PRO-level technology, USB-C connectivity, 95-hour battery life, POWERPLAY support, a larger array size, and the more productive maximum frame rate of 25kHz make this new mouse a truly professional device. Additive-free PTFE mouse legs supply smoother gliding performance, which deserves reaction time.
Introduced alongside the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 gaming mouse is the Logitech G PRO X TKL gaming keyboard.
Debuting alongside the PRO X Superlight 2 Gaming Mouse is the all-new Logitech G PRO X TKL Wireless Gaming Keyboard. This new keyboard has been designed specifically for professional gaming use. It even ships with a protective tournament carrying case. The keyboard’s tenkeyless design includes programmable keys, RGB lighting with LIGHTSYNC, dedicated media controls and a volume roller. The keyboard uses Logitech G’s LIGHTSPEED wireless technology and a dongle is provided with the keyboard. Alternatively, the keyboard can be connected using Bluetooth or a USB cable.
The PRO The popular layout supports MX key support, while additional media keys are offered quickly during rendering, a detail Logitech says many pro gamers have requested. The keyboard is compact, meaning there is more room for mouse movements on the player’s desktop, a key merit for competitive gamers.
The switches on the PRO X TKL are not hot-swappable, but the keyboard can be ordered with a choice of tactile switches (GX Brown), linear switches (GX Red), or Clicky switches (GX Blue). For professional players, the slightest replacement in settings can mean all the difference between winning and losing. DPI, sensitivity, report rate, surface, gaming parameters and much more are interconnected in the new PRO product series. With G HUB updates and built-in memory management (OMM) software, gamers have even more configuration options.
The new Logitech G PRO
Logitech G HUB software now includes a sensitivity and OMM UI for setting DPI with full presets, separate X/Y axis controls, and much more. The HERO 2 mouse sensor can copy a mouse’s settings to ensure accurate DPI is transferred from an old mouse. Finally, the keys that serve as keyboard keys can be reprogrammed as G keys on the PRO X 2 keyboard for complete desktop control.
While performance is everything, Logitech has been getting serious about the environmental impact of its products. The company ships millions of keyboards and mice each year, adding to a considerable environmental impact in plastics, carbon footprint, and packaging. With upgraded and intentional design, the new Pro Series gaming products include certified post-consumer recycled plastic to bring a second life to end-of-use plastic recycled from old consumer electronics.
The paper packaging used in both products comes from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources. Logitech wants players to know that they help control the world’s forests. The company claims that all Logitech G products are carbon neutral rated and use renewable energy as much as imaginable during the production process.

Verdict: Now I had the opportunity to take a pre-release look at the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 Gaming Mouse and the PRO X TKL Gaming Keyboard. Although I am not a professional gamer, I can say that the mouse and keyboard have an impressive finish. For starters, the mouse is incredibly light. At first I wondered if the mouse had batteries because it was too light. The mouse has a rechargeable battery, but only weighs 60 g.
The PRO X TKL gaming keyboard has a positive feel with plenty of travel. The sample I tested was fitted with Brown switches and the feel is very responsive. The dedicated function buttons at the top of the keyboard are well thought out and I like how the backlight level can be adjusted with one button.
Both products excel when Logitech G HUB software is custom designed, meaning they can be as individual as the user. It will be interesting to see how the gaming world receives these two new high-end products and they deserve to involve expansion. what Logitech can expect from its already successful Logitech G sub-brand.
Price and Availability: All new PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED products are available in pink, black and white. The PRO All three products are now available on LogitechG. com, as well as in the United States, Canada, and select markets around the world.
