Verdict: I’ve now had a chance to take an early pre-launch look at the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 gaming mouse and PRO X TKL gaming keyboard. While I am not a professional gamer by any stretch of the imagination, I can say that the mouse and keyboard are impressively finished. To begin with, the mouse is unbelievably light. Initially, I wondered if the mouse had any batteries as it felt too light. The mouse has a rechargeable battery, yet it only weighs in at 60g.
The PRO X TKL gaming keyboard provides a positive feel with plenty of movement. The pattern I tried included brown switches and the feel is very responsive. The dedicated buttons that serve as buttons at the top of the keyboard are well thought out and I like them. How you can adjust the backlight point with just one button.
Both products come into their own when customized using the Logitech G HUB software, which means they can be as individual as the person using them. It will be interesting to see how the gaming world receives these two new premium products and should indicate how much growth Logitech can expect from its already successful Logitech G sub-brand.
