With more than 40 million Americans claiming unemployment benefits since the coronavirus pandemic devastated the economy, dozens of states and organizations are looking for tactics to requalify others for new lines of work.
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation has now partnered with the Linux Foundation to offer certification courses and exams that enable users to qualified Kubernete directors and qualified Kubernete application developers.
As companies migrate to the cloud, enabling technologies like Kubernetes are jumping forward in terms of innovation and adoption. Although business adoption is still in its infancy, Kubernetes is expected to upgrade the replaced container orchestration team in the coming years as it is being followed across organizations.
Kubernetes’ call for candidates with wisdom has increased in recent years as more and more organizations turn to technology. According to Indeed, between October 2015 and October 2019, Kubernetes’ consistent percentage of tasks matches the highest million to 2141%, while Kubernetes’ consistent percentage of tasks searches highest to 2125%.
Priyanka Sharma, executive director of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, told TechRepublic that Kubernetes has been described as “the long term of computing” and that others are qualified to develop their career prospects.
“Kubernetes and boxes have become virtually synonymous with on-premises cloud development, allowing businesses to move quickly, successfully deploy software, and operate on an unprecedented scale. From Gmail to YouTube to search, everything on Google, for example, works in boxes.” Sharma said. “But corporations are suffering to fill those positions. A StackRox survey of 540 IT and security professionals cited a shortage of internal skills and a steep learning curve as the two situations of peak vital demand in Kubernetes that have an effect on their businesses.”

According to one of the foundation, bootcamps can be finished in six months if other people spend approximately 20 hours reading each week. Bootcamp costs $999.
Demand for Kubernetes capabilities is expanding with COVID-19 as cloud providers face increasing demand and are forced to expand services. With containerized services, built natively for the cloud, workloads can move seamlessly where capacity exists, Sharma said. Since almost everyone relies more than ever on technology, traffic or programs has had to multiply by 10 or more almost overnight.
Retailers, in particular, are undergoing immediate change, and Kubernetes has been used in spaces such as action-seeking features, Sharma said, adding that Kubernetes’ skills are now so sought-after that they can have a direct effect on those of a candidate. payment fee.
Abubakar Siddiq Ango, Technical Evangelism program manager at GitLab, said that having the Certified Kubernetes Administrator exam under his belt gave him a huge advantage.
“It helped me move up in my company into my current role as a program manager on the Technical Evangelism team where I am able to lend more to my teams and my company. Passing the exam helped me at my job in almost every task,” Ango said.
“It also gave me the opportunity to exercise other team members and expand our team’s experience. Passing the exam greatly validates your wisdom and also teaches you where there could be significant gaps in your wisdom.”

In addition to Cloud Native Computing Foundation courses and exams, there are loose Kubernetes courses on Katakoda as official tutorials on Kubernetes Docs. There are books about it and a complete list of resources on GitHub called “Awesome Kubernetes”.
Even when Kubernetes is not explicitly discussed in task offerings, some wisdom is now a tacit requirement for positions as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, DevOps platform engineer, cloud engineer, formula engineer, and reliability engineer.
Before you dive into Kubernetes courses, it’s helpful to have some knowledge about Linux and the popular Kubernetes, as well as fundamental concepts like virtualization and containers.
Ango claimed that he had spent months reading Kubernetes before taking the courses and that he had used the exams to validate everything he had learned on his own.
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation has published 38 case studies in 2019 detailing the learnings of a diverse end-user organization committed to accelerating the adoption of on-premises cloud technologies, adding Kubernetes and the deployment experience.
Sharma said more than 126,600 more people have registered with the CNCF for kubernetes Edx loose courses.
“Kubernetes wouldn’t be anywhere near where it is today without the network of thousands of developers and engineers covering a lot of corporations. Today, Kubernetes is used through more than 50% of Fortune 500 corporations to run critical applications,” Sharma said. “Support, neutrality, and the network provided through foundations play a vital role in helping these projects reach their speed by ensuring they are free from partisan influence, fostering ecosystem expansion and evolution through non-unusual technical criteria in other rooms and at the service of the network by making generation available and reliable to all.”
