Super Smash Bros. will get the Lego remedy later this year, as publisher Bandai Namco releases its own edition of the brick-building game in Nintendo’s classic competitive fighter.
Lego Brawls mimics the competitive fighting of Super Smash Bros. characters, but instead of pitting Nintendo’s list of recognizable pets against others in relentless punches, it offers you customizable Lego minifigures to fight together. It is expected to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC in mid-2022.
However, this is the first time the game has been released. The block fighter launched in 2019 on iOS’s Apple Arcade, but now it only comes to consoles and PCs.
The game places a strong emphasis on customization, allowing you to combine and adjust various legs, torsos, heads, and accessories to create your own Lego character. The cosmetic features are quite granular and unlock more difficult fighting upgrades as you progress through the game.

Things get pretty crazy. You can equip your Lego fighter with cake cannons, chopsticks or even rocket fists. Later, you will be able to use tradition and power-ups a lot to better suit your style of play.
Once you’re done dressing, face your traditional figure against rival Legos in local and online multiplayer. The game includes several competitive modes, as well as a bunch of themed grades around other Lego games.
It hasn’t been a slow year for Lego video games. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga won a warm welcome in April, while Lego Bricktales, an upcoming diorama puzzle, will hit our screens later this year. Danish toys have many options.
