LeBron James might have shed light on one of the most popular sites for illegally streaming NBA games.
On Friday night, James headed to the Nike EYBL this week to watch his AAU team, Team Strive For Greatness.
While in the arena, some enthusiasts filmed LeBron and his friends sitting on the side of the court, watching the NBA playoff game between the Mavs and Wolves.
It emerged that LeBron and company had to use the illegal online site StreamEast to stream the game instead of an official NBA broadcast.

Fans on the internet criticized LeBron for shining a light on StreamEast because they feared he would be banned.

It’s worth noting that StreamEast is incredibly popular and has been difficult for government officials to take down, so enthusiasts have nothing to worry about.
The NBA, on the other hand, probably wouldn’t be satisfied with illegal public broadcasts of LeBron’s games.
