Leaked symbol shows new iPhone SE may include Dynamic Island

Apple’s launching a new iPhone SE soon and with a strong array of features that could make it the best iPhone for most buyers. Now, we can add one more rumored feature to the list: the Dynamic Island.

Earlier today, leaker Evan Blass (private account @evleaks on X) shared code references concerning several upcoming Apple devices:

In a follow-up post, Blass shared the following symbol that purports to reveal images for the same 4 devices.

As you can see, the symbol seems to show a FaceTime call on the device.

Barely noticeable, the iPhone SE style appears to have a dynamic island instead of a notch.

At this point, however, Blass’s own words are more eloquent than the visual itself.

To accompany the leaked image, Blass wrote that he had “corrected the color of the phone to highlight the dynamic island. “

If the iPhone SE 4 really has a dynamic island, it would be even more difficult to distinguish it from the more expensive iPhone 16 model.

Both devices are expected to feature the same A18 chip, 8GB of RAM, Apple Intelligence support, USB-C ports, and likely the same 48MP main camera.

The iPhone 16 has an Ultra Wide camera too, giving it a visual edge, but viewed from the front, the new SE has been expected to feature an iPhone 14-style notch. If that’s no longer the case, perhaps Apple will call it iPhone 16E after all.

What do you think of the leaked image of the iPhone SE? Would you be surprised if they gave it a dynamic island? Let us know in the comments.
