CLEARFIELD – COVID-19 will avoid one of the year’s favorite fundraisers in Clearfield County, the Anne S. Thacik charity auction.
This year’s auction will run virtually and you can see the pieces being auctioned online now. The county regional aging firm has two other strategies for auctions:
You will get several text messages asking questions to register, and this will advise you in the process. Then you will get a link to the site. The company will also provide a link to the site through its Facebook page.
You can come and have fun playing and spending shopping for groceries in the comfort of your own home. ACSCA now offers the following pieces for purchase: Treasure Chest, 50/50 Opportunity, Charity Binpass, Raffle, and Red and Blue Card Games.
On October 5, the silent auction will open and you will have 10 days before the auction to publish your bid. Once on the touchdown page, you will be able to see the event sponsors, be informed more about Anne S. Thacik, make a donation and, of course, view the articles.
If you haven’t sent the signal yet, there will also be a signal button. Registration is free, but all participants must register to participate.
On the night of the auction, on Thursday, October 15, organizers will be posted on Facebook, starting at 7 p.m. 8 p.m. They will draw the winners of the red and blue card game and the “Cash Raffle”.
For all games, they will be left open for sale for the rest of the night, then will inform the winners individually and post a list of winners on Facebook on October 16.
