VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. (KABC) — SpaceX’s launch of its Falcon Nine rocket has been rejected.
The launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base was scheduled for Thursday night, but liftoff is now scheduled for 7:30 p. m. Friday at the earliest, according to the Hawthorne-based company.
The project will send 22 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. This will be the Falcon 9’s 30th flight so far this year.
Once the satellites are deployed, the booster will land on the “Of Course, I Still Love You” drone in the Pacific Ocean.
It wasn’t until last week that the launch of Falcon nine left a long plume in the skies over Southern California.
