LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA – The Laguna Beach Arts Festival will present an offsite exhibit this summer. This time, the options of the permanent art collection of the Festival of arts will be shown in Laguna Niguel, they say.
The exhibition will be open until September 16 at the exquisite Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.
This exhibition presents one of the artworks from the Festival’s permanent art collection.
Sharbie Higuchi, director of marketing/public at the Laguna Beach Art Festival, spoke about the transfer to the Ritz.
“While the 2020 season of the 2020 Arts Festival and Teacher Parade has been canceled, we are grateful to continue our annual partnership with our friends at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel to honor and celebrate the arts,” Higuchi said.
The exhibition features classic and fresh works in media such as painting, photography, ceramics, watercolor and engraving.
Among the many in the demonstration are Edgar Payne’s portrait “Payne Lake”, Stillman Sawyer’s photograph “Sculptured Sand”, Ken Auster’s portrait “Laguna”, Julita Jone’s engraving “Rhinoceros Unicornis” and Tom Lamb’s photograph “The Gates-Christo, NYC”.
The Festival’s collection consists of more than 1,150 pieces and is composed of an eclectic combination of two-dimensional and three-dimensional works dating back to the early 20th century.

The permanent collection of the Festival of Arts grows year after year through purchases and donations and includes paintings, sculptures, ceramics, engraving, glass, photography, combined media, furniture and jewelry.

All the artworks chosen for the Festival’s permanent art collection reflect the uniqueness and diversity that is synonymous with the Festival of Arts and the surrounding region.
Since 1932, the Arts Festival has played a key role in preserving the region’s history by supporting artists and the arts community in Higuchi.
“This exhibition invites the viewer to take a visual walk through history, as well as explore various artistic styles,” he says.
The exhibition options for the Festival of Arts Permanent Art Collection are located at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel on One Ritz-Carlton Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629.
