Kolkata Airport receives vehicle from cell station after air accident in Kerala

According to the IAA, the MCP vehicle, which is priced at 46,36,220 ₹, has a compartment where amenities are installed for on-site use, if necessary, for rescue operations or in illicit situations.

“[CCM] serves as a meeting point for liaison officers of cooperating agencies to plan and coordinate rescue operations. It is used to identify a preparedness domain for all floor service appliances, such as towing tractors, coaches, etc. [It is also used to] identify a collection domain for unscathed survivors and to obtain/provide all required assistance through physicians in the triage domain and to establish the immediate evacuation of injured people to the hospital. [Also] relates to the airline involved to send the injured to the SURVIVORS Reception Center (SRC) and identify communication with the Crisis Management Center (CMC) and the Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC), “AAI said.

According to AAI, the airport’s fire rescue and extinguishing facilities are guilty of deploying the CCM as temporarily as can be imagined at a distance of at least 90 m from the wind from the site of the aircraft crash.

Heavy rains were heavy in Kerala on 7 August and an Air India Express flight overcame the floor of the table before sinking 35 feet into a valley and split in two. The Vande Bharat project took 190 passengers from Dubai to Kerala by the COVID-19 pandemic and killed 18 people, adding pilots. Subsequently, various measures are taken at airports across the country to deal with unwanted incidents.
