You may realize that not all songs returned via ChatGPT can be added to a playlist. Unfortunately, this is due to Apple’s non-existent implementation of Apple Music Search in Shortcuts. The Shortcuts app doesn’t have a genuine “Find Apple Music” action; instead, I have to use a search action in the iTunes Store, which is unreliable. Hopefully, we’ll see local Apple Music search moves in iOS 17.

S-GPT is a shortcut to having conversations with OpenAI’s ChatGPT assistant on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The shortcut supports text conversations and voice interactions when used in Siri. S-GPT comes with local formula integrations on Apple platforms, adding the ability to process text from your clipboard, summarize discovered text in photos, export conversations to Files and Finder, and even create playlists in the Music app. The shortcut requires an OpenAI API token and an auxiliary shortcut called S-GPT Encoder that you’ll have to download separately.
