A new report reveals that 89% of people would use AI more if they had the right tools.
A new report from Microsoft shows that 40% of IT Resolution Managers (ITDMs) in the UK are falling behind due to inadequate investment in new technologies.
The report, The AI Talent Equation, also shows that 89% of staff who use synthetic intelligence on a basis would use it even more if they had the right tools.
According to Microsoft, this indicates that investing in generation is vital, not only to gain a competitive advantage, but also to meet the growing desires of employees.
In addition, the study found that 25 percent of employees their work computer is not rugged enough to run AI, while 29 percent of employees their existing computer or device slows down their work. This has a ripple effect, as 60 percent of employees who are currently looking to replace jobs say they would likely stay longer if their current employer helped them expand more virtual skills.
“The immediate adoption of AI in the office demands superior specification generation and enhanced virtual skills,” Alan Slothower, head of surface commerce at Microsoft UK, told Microsoft’s website. “For IT resolvers, it’s imperative to prioritize and deliver ready-to-use AI PCs and effective training. Empowering staff in this way is especially vital for younger generations, as those teams serve for retention and professional engagement.
