After one month of beta testing, Apple has now released iOS 18.3 for all iPhone users. The update includes changes to two key Apple Intelligence features, as well as a handful of big fixes and other enhancements.

You can update to iOS 18. 3 now by accessing the Settings app on your iPhone, via “General” urgent, then “Software update” urgent. The update will be downloaded to your devices, and your iPhone will invite you to restart when it is in condition for the entire installation. The structure number of the iOS 18. 3 update today is 22d63. Apple is also rolling out iPadOS 18. 3 to iPad users today.
iOS 18. 3 brings several tweaks to Apple Intelligence’s abstract notification feature. The adjustments come after several media court cases, led largely through the BBCC to the BBC, Apple Intelligence’s notification summaries are incorrectly summarised from various headlines in its BBC APP news. In one example, Apple Intelligence falsely claimed that Luigi Mangione, the accused killer of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, had shot himself.

However, all this are bad news for Apple’s intelligence characteristics in iOS 18. 3. Apple says that the update brings two new features to visual intelligence for iPhone 16 users:
Visual Intelligence is available on all iPhone 16 models and can be accessed by long-pressing on the Camera Control.
With iOS 18. 3, Apple has also taken what can be just a debatable decision. Corporate statements that Apple Intelligence will be automatically enabled for new users or updating iOS 18. 3. This means that the characteristics are no longer chosen not to participate, however, the exclusion of the option to exclude.
“For new users or updating to iOS 18. 3, Apple Intelligence will automatically turn on iPhone integration. Users will have access to Apple Intelligence features after setting up their devices,” Apple explains.
To disable Apple Intelligence after updating iOS 18. 3, you can go to the configuration application, “Apple Intelligence
iOS 18.3 includes a handful of other smaller changes and improvements. Perhaps most notably, the update addresses a common complaint about the revamped Calculator app that was introduced first with iOS 18. With iOS 18.3, you can once again hit the equals button multiple times to perform new operations.
