iOS 14 brings many innovations to the iPhone user experience. One of those innovations and new features is the new app library, which can be very useful for those who need their phones to be free of cluttered app icons.
The new app library organizes all installed apps according to their category in the App Store. All apps are available on a bachelor screen so users don’t have to swipe left and right when the app page on the home screen includes the app they need to open.
Here’s how to use the app library in iOS 14:
Access the app library
You can access the app library by swiping right to the last page of the app on the home screen and then swiping back to see a new segment called “App Library”. This is where you can discover all the programs through the category.
It should be noted that iOS will rank apps according to their category in the App Store, which means that apps may not be discovered in the folder that users believe they belong to. Amazon, for example, will be in the Lifestyle category, while Amazon Prime Video will be in the Entertainment category.

Add apps to the app library
iOS will create new app pages on the home screen for new apps. Those who have hidden app pages and don’t need iOS to create new app pages have the option to restrict iOS to add apps only to the app library. This can be done in the Home screen Settings and then by verifying the App Library only with New App Downloads.
Remove apps from the app library
Users can also remove apps from the app library through the app icon urgently and then by pressing the Delete option that appears.
