Public viewing of homework documents online, through “Showcase”, will take place from 2:00 p. m. on Wednesday. Rewards will be collected/delivered to schools after rewards are announced.
The students’ projects, which consist of a presentation, a lab paperback and a study paper, will be reviewed by judges of the zfair online platform on Tuesday, May 17. Interviews with academics will be conducted through judges, under the supervision of teachers and staff, on Wednesday, May 18. From 10 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. This year’s projects reflect existing occasions related to problems of physical fitness, student learning, technology, the herbal world and the environment, as well as the interests of academics.
Typically, more than 7600 three-year-old public school students, from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, participate each year, along with nearly 110 projects from 39 schools, in the science behind their projects before judges on May 17 and 18. In the first round, students prepare and present projects in their schools, with younger students running in combination with elegance and older students running in small teams or individually. Each school has decided on the projects that will be exhibited.
The New Haven Science Fair began in 1995 with the participation of seven public schools. In the following years, it expanded to include almost each and every school in the system.
