QiIC’s main objective is to strategically boost studies and activities of progression in quantum computing in Japan by combining educational skills from the country’s universities and major studies and industry associations on a large scale. The consortium plans to further expand quantum computing generation in Japan and build an ecosystem for students’ skills and experience, opening the door to long-term clinical discoveries and practical quantum applications.
Based at the University of Tokyo, QIIC member organizations will paint in combination to interact with students, professors and industry researchers with seminars, painting workshops and occasions to foster new quantum business opportunities in Japan. Organizations that agree to enroll in the consortium come with Keio University, Toshiba, Hitachi, Mizuho, MUFG, JSR, DIC, Toyota, Mitsubishi Chemicals and IBM Japan.
