Humane issued an advisory related to false data caused through “pre-release software. “

Last week, Humane posted a 10-minute AI Pin video on Vimeo and Twitter, which featured several demos that provided incorrect data in the results. Humane has posted a video on the AI company’s official Discord server pointing out the multiple errors the company included in its pre-recorded video presentation.

Here’s the post via Sam Sheffer on Humane AI’s Discord server:

Hello everyone. We are very touched by the reaction and can’t wait to share more percentages. There were two issues in the launch video and we’re addressing them head-on.

It is vital to note that this video was created prior to the release of the software. We have since resolved those issues and will soon update the video on our online page.

The first is that there was a bug that helpfully reported the viewing location of a past eclipse (rather than the next one). The moment is that we indicate the amount of protein per cup of almonds instead of the number on Imran’s hand. The first is a correct and existing habit, and this too will do over time.

These issues (and many more we’ll encounter) during the time consumers get their devices will be resolved as soon as we notice them. Our Ai architecture is continually evolving, and we will be releasing over-the-air updates to improve the quality of the Ai architecture.

We continue to get feedback. We work hard and move fast and, most importantly, we listen.

It’s hard to forget the irony of an AI company publishing multiple effects in a hermetically sealed, pre-recorded video presentation. Perhaps an undeniable fact check could have prevented this from happening? The art is that old and difficult to understand that they seek news and adventures. It is done by capitalists who think it will be left behind. As Sam said in the Discord article, “our AI architecture is continually evolving,” which is why the customer is wary every time this product and service is officially shipped.

Is Humane AI Pin worth the $699 fee and $24 a month? Is the real challenge that this presentation was done with pre-release software, or are the underlying AI installations flawed?Do you think it’s true that AI is looking for results? Only time will tell where this generation goes, but we’ll be here at Shacknews to report on AI and other tech news.
