The short video platform TikTok is a hub for all kinds of viral content on the internet. From adorable puppy videos to delicious recipes, short stories, and comedy videos, TikTok has just about everything you need to watch.
The app has noticed a massive influx of users in recent years, many have come together to share their favorite videos with their friends and have interaction with the many content creators and celebrities who have accounts.
There is so much content in the app that it can be overwhelming for new users, and it can be difficult to find something specific.
However, TikTok search makes navigating a little easier.
Throughout the month of May, many users reported that the app’s Discover page, available through the tab at the back of the screen, had become a “Friends” tab.
It turns out that wasn’t the case for everyone, however, clicking on the Discovery or Friends tab takes you to a page with a search bar at the top. You can use this search bar to search for anything, even if it’s on the Friends tab.
Some users can also use this search bar by clicking on the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of their For You page.
