You can prevent your annoying systems and other users from converting your browser’s homepage by selectively disabling settings. The adware and spyware will no longer be to hijack your homepage settings, and workers and other users will not have access to the home page commands. You can permanently set up the home page on your company’s online page or any other page you use frequently.
Connect to Windows as an administrator.
Press and hold the “Windows” button and tap “R” to activate the Run window. Type “gpedit.msc” and click “OK”. Click “Yes” to allow the on-premises policy editor application to run.
Go to “User Settings – Adration Models – Windows Components – Internet Explorer” in the left pane.
Double-click “Disable Replacement in Home Page Settings” in the right segment of the configuration. You can locate the access more easily by clicking on “Parameters” in the most sensitive part of the tray to sort the list in alphabetical order.
Click the button next to “On”, then enter an Internet backup in the “Home” field. Internet Explorer will use this feature as the default home page, and users should not override the settings.
Click “OK” to save the change, then close the organization’s policy editor. Restart Internet Explorer.
Connect to Windows as an administrator.
Click “Search” on the access bar and type “notepad”. Right-click the Notebook application in the search results, and then click “Run as administrator” on the taskbar. “Click “Yes” to allow the program to run.
Type two bars (“//”) on the first line of Notepad and then “Back”.
Type or paste “lockPref (” browser.startup.housepage, “http://www.yourpage.com/”); ” in the line of the moment. Forget the first and last appointments, but include the semicolon at the end. Replace “www.yourpage.com” with the front of the page that you need to set as the default home page.
Save the record “firefox.cfg” in the folder “C: Program Files (x86) – Mozilla Firefox”.
Remove the last line from the Notepad window, but leave the bars. On a new line, type or paste “pref (” general.config.filename, “” firefox.cfg “);” Again, skip the first and last appointments, but include the semicolon.
Save this record “lock-settings.js” in the folder “C: Program Files (x86) – Mozilla Firefox – Default – Pref -“.
Close the laptop and then restart Firefox.
