How analytics drives virtual transformation

Audiovisual hiring has increased in many corporations this year, but is starting to increase with the reopening of task sites. We offer recommendations for hiring and more.

While hiring wonderful skills has been a challenge in the professional AV integration industry, the effect of COVID-19 on the economy meant that the concept of hiring was out of the query for many integration corporations, and still is, depending on who you’re asking about.

Audiovisual hiring was interrupted months ago in many companies, but now we wonder if things are returning to normal, or at least something.

Turns out the answer is: somehow.

We conducted a small Twitter survey of random integration corporations of other sizes to find out where they were lately in terms of AV hiring.

Almost 43% of them said they’re slowly and cautiously beginning to hire again.

This is the response of the majority, with 14% saying they are hiring aggressively and 7% saying their hiring behavior remained the same during the pandemic.

Only 35.7% said they were not yet in a position to hire new employees.

It is true that the other 14 people who responded to our survey do not constitute a large size of pattern, however, we were pleased to see that audiovisual hiring is even on the radar at the moment for integrators at a time when almost all the rest of the paintings are so unpredictable.

Jeff Ashachik, of the hire company HireSparks, echoes those findings: he says he has noticed that some of his integrative customers reorganize their operations (each user in their own segment of a warehouse, etc.). But others have had to give up 70% of their workforce.

“I would like to think that triumph over the very bad part, with other task sites starting to open. Some sales reps, however, have recently been fired, especially on the production side,” Ashachik explains.

Ashachik points out that many of its inclusive consumers use COVID-19 as an excuse to prune them by examining and passing on those with lower performance.

For those who return to paintings, they see sites of incredibly empty and more effective paintings.

He said he also saw a slight increase in the number of advertising engineers.

“It doesn’t seem very proportional, however, we’re seeing more high-level sales positions being renewed. It turns out that integration corporations are like a springboard.”

More importantly, he says, corporations that have kept in normal communication with their consumers have done so financially and are in a better position to hire.

Yes, you’ve just read this, but it’s worth repeating: the only way to be sure that a new worker is a smart concept is to make sure that you continue to build consumer relationships first. Be artistic and persevering here, then let your new recruits impress.

HireSparks and other similar corporations will offer a service where you can register in advance, that is, before you want to complete a task, giving them enough time to know what your company wants.

But what if he’s already interviewing candidates?

Look at the user and their paint history: do they have longevity? Do they jump a lot in jobs? Are they young in their careers, which would make the latter more understandable, or are they just “nervous”? If they are, you may not need to rent them in such a dubious period of time.

Look for other open-minded people and others who have a smart answer for “What have you done with your time over the past few months?”

Recruitment managers face other people who are not smart candidates. LinkedIn is right at the launch of a giant network, but you can’t limit that network as a company (like HireSparks) can.

They don’t necessarily want a title, but have they committed to anything? Have you finished anything? Positive and well-thought-out responses are a smart sign here.
