When confronted with images of himself fleeing the structure site, Foresyth told investigators he had a rock in his shoe and should run.

Upon questioning Foresyth, investigators discovered that he was inside the shipping container where the murder took place that same night.

He had started a small fire outside the container when a fight took place, causing Foresyth to stab Snell repeatedly. He immediately left, police said, and eventually got rid of the knife and the clothing he was carrying.

The witness reported hearing Snell scream that she had been stabbed and promptly rushed to her aid. He took him to Inman Park, where he allowed him to use his phone to call 911.

“The tireless determination and determination to track down Ms. Snell’s killer is a core testament to our detectives and all members of the Winter Haven Police Department,” said Chief David Brannan. “Detectives worked tirelessly around the clock to make sure no stone was left unturned when making a solid arrest. “

Detectives say Foresyth admitted he never called 911 for Snell’s help, nor did he see her with a gun during the altercation.

He is being held on bond in the Polk County Jail.

Cherie Smith, Snell’s mother, confirms that her daughter was partially homeless at the time, but did not live on the land under construction. She leaves behind a 5-year-old daughter who is now Smith’s number one priority.

“He took part of my heart,” Smith said. Justice for this baby because she will be a mother. “

Snell’s circle of relatives will hold a candlelight vigil for her this Saturday at 7:30 p. m. on Silver Lake in Winter Haven.
