Hobby Lobby is now open at the former Fond du Lac Shopko, Big Lots, Taco John’s

FOND DU LAC – Just over a year after the announcement, a closed company has two major retailers.

Hobby Lobby, 618 W. Johnson St. , opened May 13, completing the redevelopment of the former Shopko announced early last year. Ownership of Big Lots shares, with Taco Johns in the subdivision.

Oklahoma-based Hobby Lobby sells craft and home décor products, adding fabrics, sewing, traditional frames, house accents, jewelry making, scrapbooks, and paper craft supplies. Fond du Lac is Wisconsin’s 23rd location; the nearest ancient location Oshkosh.

Corta Development and NETSREIT Corp. shared the large 102,000-square-foot store for the two retailers, with the help of a $150,000 investment from the city, funded in the form of a 2% interest-forgivable loan, with 20% remitted year over a five-year period. The city’s investment is secured through a loan on the property.

Big Lots, the first store to open, welcomed expired consumers last year and celebrated its grand opening in February. Taco Johns followed in March.

Hobby Lobby is open from 9:00 a. m. 00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. m. De Monday to Saturday. For more information, hobbylobby. com.
