The trailer opens to a rusty steel door with the GSC Gameworlds logo, and the shot moves into a dark view of the famous Ferris wheel of Pripyat, the city near the Chernothroughl nuclear reactor. The leaves and other debris are strangely suspended in the air, and we enter an underground tunnel, possibly in a kind of bunker, illuminated only through a rotating red light.
The trailer includes photographs of anomalies, one that causes strange gravitational effects and the other focused on a bright orange artifact, which you won’t forget as a valuable object of the original STALKER.
Here’s the trailer:
Another shot shows us a type of deformed fetal creature held in a glass incubation tube, in an underground chamber that houses what appear to be dozens of them. Gross.
Finally, we see the titular stalker walking through the woods to Duga’s iconic network of ancient radars near Pripyat. The silhouette turns to the camera, his face masked by a fuel mask, before the trailer turns black.
On xbox’s official website, STALKER 2 is described as “one of the biggest open globals to date,” which is pretty big to do with all the giant open global games that exist lately.
“All possible opposing options not only describe your own epic story, but also influence the long term. Be aware of what you see, do and plan, as you will have to cross the Zone or get lost forever,” description states said.
The only other data in the trailer is that STALKER 2 will appear on Xbox Series X and Windows PC, and will be available in Game Pass. We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out what the release date of STALKER 2 will be.
