Harretería to make a good at the Hudson Valley

Recently I read an article from a local business in the Hudson Valley that made me prevent and think for a moment. I am the one who the warehouses departments locally, but I am still here. Unfortunately, I had to say “no” after reading the letter that the corporate published.

Regarding gifts and even small must-haves around the house, I’ll move on to local farmers markets, specialty outlets, and even restaurants to grab the pieces I want. I don’t the last time I bought Jelly for groceries. Why would it have when we have jams and ice cream on the farm?So why is it that when I go through renovation pieces at home, do I locate myself in Lowes?

Last week the President of Beck’s Hardware put a letter out that got me thinking I could do better and by that, I mean more shopping locally when it comes to home hardware. Honestly, I hadn’t realized that Becks Hardware who I knew had a store in Pine Bush had taken over New Paltz True Value. Not sure how that got past me but it did.

As I read the letter he posted, I began to think about where I buy paint and other things I use around the house. At one point, I buy groceries at New Paltz Agway for things for my yard, but when they closed I finished Lowes.

I am ashamed to say that I even bought a grass cutter on Amazon, but it is another story and for my defense, out of necessity. Anyway, I will check it to do better.

Michael Beck, the president of the Beck shop family, encouraged me to shop for local for things that I turned to convenience. Did you know that many of our local hardware retail outlets have a street collection and local delivery, just inquire.

Lowes is on the way back and I have your credits card, but it is not an explanation why not plan more and at least know what is on my local hardware. Mr. Beck also aroused my interest because he argued that they expanded their points of sale at Pine Bush and New Paltz.

According to the letter, Beck’s Pine Bush will accumulate through 4,000 square feet and the new Paltz will accumulate through 2,000 feet. Michael even asked for his advice on his article on Facebook.

Feel free to send me a message, or stop into the office with your comments good or bad. I want to hear it all. Where are we missing the mark? What do you want to see in our expansions? What can we do to bring you back into shopping locally? (Beck’s Hardware Home Garden via Facebook)

If you think it stops in a local hardware store instead of the giant version on scale, it would be intelligent if you know that Becks has five locations. Beck is in New Paltz, Monroe and Wallkill and have two points of sale at Pine Bush.
