Hard-To-Find Arcade Cabinet With 300 Games Will Be Back In Stock Soon

Last year, AtGames entered the game room market with the ambitious Legends Ultimate video game cabinet. Unfortunately, production disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic have slowed production, making the company incredibly difficult to find. It has been without inventory for months, however, AtGames has announced that there will soon be a reissue, very soon. Starting August 31, see Ultimate Legends return to major stores for $600, adding Walmart, GameStop and Sam’s Club.

AtGames is best known for its officially authorized Atari Flashback consoles and other plug-and-play systems. The Ultimate Legends is decidedly more expensive than AtGames’ old-fashioned products, but it’s also a full-size closet filled with lots of games and exclusive features you can’t find in your home closets.

Legends’ ultimate arcade closet of $600 is a full-size closet (29.53 x 21.65 x 65.44 inches) that includes three hundred games, plus Centipede, BurgerTime, Tempest Missile, Command, Tetris and Space Invaders.

The Ultimate Legends features a variety of control inputs for its eclectic library of arcade classics and home consoles. Each cabinet has two joysticks, a trackball, a pair of spinners and two six-button games (ideal for multiplayer). You can also use third-party drivers via USB/Bluetooth.

Separated from some other fashion cabinets, The Ultimate Legends integrates Wi-Fi and an Ethernet connector to view global ratings, stream your game live and download new updates. It also has a companion tool that allows you to load more games, or even create your own titles to play in your Ultimate Legends cabinet. And for those who like to play with Raspberry Pi, they can pair it with Ultimate Legends Bluetooth.

In addition to all the built-in games and customization options, Ultimate Legends has an optional subscription service called ArcadeNet ($20 per month), which gives you a library of games in development. You can also stream games from cloud servers and your own PC games with Bring Your Own Game; however, it costs $1 per hour.

AtGames Ultimate Legends is a component of the trend in developing home arcade machines that provide a lot of games and customization features. He is joined through the upcoming company iiRcade, which holds a Sega license and recently broke off his Kickstarter goal. SNK also just introduced Neo Geo MVSX, comprising 50 classic Neo Geo and SNK arcade titles. Definitely The Ultimate Legends is for old-fashioned gamers, and if it’s you, be sure to check with our completely old-fashioned game advisor in 2020.
