Hard Rock to Expand Sports Betting to VA with Mobile and Retail Launches

The operator’s Hard Rock Digital arm has now introduced cellular sports betting in Virginia, with state players placing bets on a variety of sporting events.

Virginia becomes the U. S. state. Hard Rock introduces its updated sports betting mobile app, following a first launch in Arizona last month through a partnership with Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise.

The latest edition of the sports app allows users to bet live on a wider diversity of sports, provides the ability to bet on the same game, includes a variety of new praise features, and provides more deposit methods.

“We are excited to expand Hard Rock Sportsbook to Virginia and proud to offer more gaming features in the sports that Virginians love on our easy-to-use cellular platform,” said Hard Rock Digital CEO and CEO Marlon Goldstein.

The app will run throughout a retail sports facility, which will be located on the Hard Rock Hotel’s new land-based casino site.

Scheduled to open in July this year and expected to create more than six hundred new jobs, Hard Rock Bristol Casino will be the first land-based casino to open in Virginia, after Hard Rock granted an operator license through the Virginia Lottery Board last month.
