Hades, one of the biggest roguelikes ever created, is coming to iOS Netflix this month

Hades, one of the most productive roguelikes ever created, is coming to Netflix’s iOS devices later this month on March 19.

Earlier today, March 5, Netflix and Hades developer Supergiant Games announced that the ace 2020 roguelike would be debuting on iPad, iPhone, and other iOS-enabled devices later this month. You can head over to the Apple App Store right now to pre-register for Hades and play it as soon as it arrives.

If you haven’t tried Hades yet, you can check out the action-packed trailer below to briefly dive into Supergiant’s masterful gameplay. The game follows the protagonist Zagreus, son of Hades, in his numerous attempts to escape the underworld and the fate that awaits him in the surface world.

It all plays out as a pretty chaotic, almost top-down, real-time action battler, where Zagreus uses the various gifts bestowed upon him by the Greek Gods themselves. You might get an ability from Zeus that lets you chain lightning between enemies, for example, or an ability from Artemis that powers up your ranged attacks.

Hades is truly amazing, and I can’t even believe how many hours I would spend on Supergiant’s perfect game if it were my first time playing it. GamesRadar has even teamed up to place Hades among the most sensible on our elite list. the most productive games of 2020, and looking ahead to a busy year, that’s saying something.

And don’t forget, Hades 2 is still expected to release in early access this year. After first being delayed ahead of its release last year in 2023, the Supergiant sequel will follow a similar release trend as its predecessor, debuting first in Early Access before moving to a full release later. Compared to the original game, Supergiant claims that Hades 2 will be in early access with much more content available.

Here’s why we expect Hades 2 to maintain the biggest strength of its predecessor: making chess fun.

As automatons threaten Ustotu and Draupnir, the grunts of Helldivers 2 say that the obsession with reclaiming the famous Malevelon Creek will derail the war effort.

Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse is a “cute, but horrible” graphic novel about the popular roguelike

Helldivers 2 players are bracing themselves for the worst, as clues suggest that an ancient foe much bigger than Bile Titans may be about to rear its ugly head.
