Gretna HS to host COVID verification after more than 40 outbreaks

GRETNA, Nebraska (KMTV) – Gretna High School hosts a contextual coronavirus testing site for academics and on Thursday after more than 40 positive cases were tracked at a giant rally on October 3.

The Sarpy/Cass Department of Health said the occasion was a house dance not authorized by the school. Those who attended the occasion will be quarantined at home until October 18 and given a coronavirus test.

“The concept of testing came to fruition in the last 36 hours, we were able to put it in position very quickly. When we introduced the concept to the Gretna Public Schools Administration, everyone agreed to say yes, let’s do some tests, see what happens in the student population,” says Sarah Schram, director of fitness at Sarpy Cass Department of Health.

The check will be located in the north parking lot of Gretna High School in nine a. m. 3 p. m. Parents can use this link to register.

A school bulk check consent document is required for any student’s check. The form must be signed through the parent, posted, and carried through the student to check. Employees who want to be screened also want a signed consent form. .

When other people arrive for your check, there will be a QR code that will record them and allow them to retrieve the check results. Those dialed are invited to bring their smartphone with them, the devices are available.

Students who are in self-quarantine lately can be monitored, but are encouraged to attend hidden control and remain masked at all times, unless otherwise noted.

Verification effects will be won via email. Students will complete a QR code registration on the site and shape an email for a legal guardian.

The school district encourages everyone to giant gatherings and to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
