Google GV’s investment arm (formerly Google Ventures) has quietly fired seven employees, representing about 8% of its total workforce.
The dismissed painters were concerned about the operations of the company’s investors and included an event-oriented individual, members of the associations team, and painters aimed at recruiting engineers to paint with corporations in their portfolio, a source told Business Insider..
“In this conversion market, we are constantly evolving GV operational facilities to satisfy the wishes of our portfolio more productively.Reinvesting in the way we paint with founders on a giant scale is imperative as we continue the next decade,” David said.Krane, CEO of GV at Business Insider in a statement.

GV’s investment operations, the facilities it provides to the corporations it invests in, were one of the ultimate cutting-edge facets of its business when it was launched, but those value-added facilities now have industry standards.
The precise reasons for the dismissals are unclear.Alphabet has just had one of its toughest quarters, however, an internal source said GV celebrated its tenth anniversary last year by making plans and a strategy for the next decade, which included reviewing its trading strategy for investors.
Operational team members focused on design, communications, user research, diversity and inclusion will also be in the company.
GV lives under the alphabet of the parent company and now aims to make an investment in more mature companies.
