Google has unveiled plans for a new campus in Mountain View, California.
The giant is working with Australian developer Lendlease on design.Mountain View Voice reported the news earlier.
The ad comes more than a year after Google promised $1 billion to build a total of 20,000 homes in the region over the next 10 years.The company promised to reallocate $750 million of its land, which lately is divided into areas for advertising and workspace.to build 15,000 residential homes, including housing for middle- and low-income people.
“In fact, we see this proposal as a step forward with our commitment to housing, and we look forward to working with the city and network in the next steps.”Michael Tymoff, Google’s director of progression at Mountain View, said Wednesday at a new campus.

The housing problem occurs when Google and other tech giants have been criticized for contributing to emerging rents in the Bay Area.The company has significant genuine real estate developments underway near San Francisco, San Jose and Sunnyvale.
For the expansion of Mountain View, approximately a quarter of the land will be designated as residential, while approximately 30% will be offices, according to the project’s launch pad. The plan includes a full shopping space, a walkway leading to a tram.track and a handful of parks, adding Maude Park, described in the proposal as “the center of a new neighborhood.”
The plan is in diapers, Google said.Right now, the company doesn’t use much space in the workplace.Google, like many of its rivals in the generation industry, has sent most of its painting painters remotely amid the coronavirus pandemic.The company’s painters will not have to return to their workplaces until at least July 2021.
